ADMINISTRATIVE POSITIONS
Instructional Technology Consultant, Senior, Delphi Center, University of Louisville, 2000-present. Provide instructional technology and design consultation and production with and for university faculty, staff and administration, local and national educational institutions to improve the teaching/learning process both online and in the classroom. Serve as team leader for multimedia services team. Consult with faculty and departments. Coordinate events and teaching of workshops for faculty and staff. Produce digital audio and video and multimedia content for online courses and other distance learning applications. Teach workshops in variety of instructional technology applications to university faculty. Research new technologies and methods in the field of instructional technology. Create feature and educational multimedia programs for the University’s Gheens Science Center and Rauch Memorial Planetarium. Other duties include/have included set-up and maintenance of multimedia workstations, creation and maintenance of web sites, serving as team leader in special projects.
Instructional Technology Consultant III, Instructional Technology/Instructional Support, University of Louisville, 1994-2000. Consulted with university faculty on instructional technology design, production and implementation, to include multimedia, digital video, and the World Wide Web. Taught workshops in variety of instructional technology applications to university faculty. Produced multimedia and Web-based programming.
Media Production Specialist, Western Kentucky University, 1991-1994. Coordinated media production services for Media Services and the Center for Teaching and Learning, to include developing multimedia programs, supervising graphics, photography, audio/video and computer lab areas, and consulting with faculty in design and production of instructional media. Also taught units on video production in College of Education.
Media Center Coordinator, Louisville Visual Art Association, 1988-1990. Established and coordinated public use of LVAA's community access film and video center, to include providing media arts training and consultation, developing media arts educational programs and screenings, producing media to support LVAA programs, and seeking support through grants and donations.
Program Assistant, Water Tower Art Association, Louisville, 1984-87. Designed and produced educational/promotional media, coordinated film and video screenings, installed and documented visual art exhibitions, and supervised rental assistant personnel.
Coordinator of Media Production, Cedar Valley College, Dallas, Texas, 1982-84. Coordinated media production services for the Learning Resource Center, to include supervision of graphics, photography, audio/video and print shop areas, and consultation with college faculty and staff in designing and producing instructional/promotional media.
